Brandy Cassandra's Story:

Brandy Cassandra discovered her passion for creativity at an early age, finding solace and inspiration in art and music. Originally from Los Angeles and raised in Flower Mound, Texas, she grew up surrounded by opportunities to explore her talents. In 2008, she relocated to Orlando to work for the Walt Disney Company, where her artistic journey deepened. She went on to earn her Associate of Arts from Valencia College in 2012 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Central Florida in 2015, laying the foundation for a multifaceted career in the arts.

After graduation, Brandy founded Brandy Cassandra Creations, specializing in custom traditional artworks that capture her clients’ visions. She became deeply active in Florida’s art scene, showcasing her work in nearly 30 exhibitions nationwide. Highlights include being named Artist of the Year in Orlando in 2017, serving as a guest speaker at the Florida State Association of Occupational Health Nurses Conference in 2018, and winning First Place in The Social Orlando’s “Artist Blitz” speed-painting competition in 2020. She has also performed live painting at weddings, private events, and high-profile venues such as the Orlando Museum of Art.

Alongside her visual art, Brandy built a vibrant career as a professional violinist. Her performances range from intimate wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours to sold-out concerts and corporate events. She has appeared on prestigious stages including Hard Rock Live in Orlando, the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, and Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston. Her versatility extends to studio work, where she has recorded violin for award-winning short film soundtracks, and to teaching, where she offers private beginner violin lessons to inspire the next generation of musicians.

In 2024, Brandy returned to her home state of Texas, settling in Dallas with her husband and their two dogs, Panama and Waffles. In a short time, she has already exhibited in Garland, been honored as one of the few artists selected to showcase at The Social gallery in Plano, and performed at weddings and major venues across the state. She is also pursuing her MBA in Marketing at Purdue Global University, strengthening the foundation for her future entrepreneurial goals.

Looking ahead, Brandy dreams of creating an establishment in Dallas that will serve as a hub for creativity—one that showcases her own work while also employing local talent, offering performances, and providing art and music education to residents from all walks of life. Her mission is to make art and music personal, accessible, and unforgettable, inspiring her community to learn, create, and celebrate the joy of artistic expression.
